DD + Stock Imagery + Laptop Issues

Hey everyone! 
I am so so so happy to announce that I've just been awarded my very first DD!
Thank you everyone! Please do check it out:
It is an image I have really become quite attached to and I am really glad some people liked it as much as I do!
In other very exciting news -I'm truly having an awesome week -, my work has been accepted to the very competitive TandemStock.com stock site, and you can find my Rio images there (the only ones I've submitted so far) by searching my name, or if you're lazy, just clicking this tandemstock.com/browse?q=amali… to see them all.
On not so great news, I stupidly managed to spill water on my laptop a few days ago and it's currently being looked into - hopefully it can get fixed, or I won't be editing any images for a while! I do plan to get a new laptop this year though, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem hopefully.
And last but not least, this weekend I'll be going to the Itatiaia National Park for (hopefully) some nature - especially waterfall - images and wildlife photography. I am hoping to work on my birding a bit and maybe do some cool insect macros if I can find the time. I'll be sure to upload my best images here. dA is often "neglected" by me in terms of uploads, because I only upload my best 10% here, so it quite often goes a while without anything until I have the next good photo. If you want to see absolutely everything though, I upload all images to my facebook page at www.facebook.com/AmaliaBastosP… even if they're not that great. On the other hand, an even stricter selection of my top images is at www.amaliabastos.co.uk which is my personal website.
Once again I'd like to thank everyone involved in the process of awarding me the DD, I am forever grateful.

Aaaand I'm back again... + Blog

I've been enjoying my vacations recently and taking a LOT of photos - in England, Italy, and Brazil. So be prepared for some uploads in the next week or so! Critiques and comments are always welcome, of course.
As some of you already know, I now have a proper, elegant, professional-looking (okay, maybe I'm exaggerating?) website. I'm debating whether I should return to deviantArt or not... I haven't been getting as much of a response on Facebook as I had been hoping for (but I will continue to keep my page there, www.facebook.com/AmaliaBastosPhotography). I'm wondering whether any of my watchers are still around four or five months after I went on hiatus?
If so, would you like to continue receiving updates and such from me?
