Description
Did an hour hike uphill through the Tijuca Forest today and when I got waaay up there... Too misty to see anything. So really the only 'proper' (if you can call it that) shot I got was this one, of a black vulture (Coragyps atratus. I think that was the species, but please do correct me if I'm wrong.
Here in Rio, wherever you have a green space, you are sure to find an incredible amount of vultures. They're everywhere, seriously. But they're still fun to photograph anyway.
Sadly my camera was equipped with my 18 - 135mm lens when the vultures came by, so I couldn't 'zoom' any closer. But I'm still reasonably satisfied with this shot anyway. Didn't have to convert the image to black and white in this case, the sky was so white it just came out like that.
Criticism is welcome, as always.
